From Giselle Oosterbroek - Founder of Love2study:
After years in the corporate world, I founded Love2study in 2012 with a simple mission: to take the nightly stress and struggle out of homework and study time. I saw how many families were caught in battles over unfinished tasks, forgotten tests, and the endless “policing” of schoolwork. I knew there had to be a better way.
I developed a unique system of study that goes beyond “just getting the homework done.” Using multisensory strategies and elaborate rehearsal techniques, I help children strengthen the three key stages of learning: encoding, storage, and recall.
This means they don’t just cram information; they truly understand and retain it in a way that works for their individual learning style.
The results have been remarkable: improved focus, concentration, and comprehension, alongside a noticeable boost in confidence and independence. It didn't take long before educators noticed the difference, and made contact with me for school workshops.
Parents often tell me they see a transformation — not only in their child’s results, but in their attitude toward learning. With the right tools, study no longer feels like a nightly battle; it becomes a skill for life.
At Love2study, we empower children of all abilities — including those with learning difficulties — with practical study skills that work for them.
By teaching the proven science of memory and focus in a way that’s easy to understand, we give students tools to learn independently, build confidence, and achieve results. For parents, this means less conflict, less worry, and more time to enjoy being a family again.
I love that children can be empowered with these skills, regardless of circumstance. If you can read, I can help you learn how to study successfully.
